First family Christmas [I Have A Christmas Tradition]
This is our first Christmas at home asa family every otber year we have been visiting others. My daughter is now 2 so time to make some memoriesaand traditions for her

Isn't it nice not to have to rush around here and there?
When I was a child, the girls would go with my mom and the boys with my dad to the in-laws. Both visits were horrible. Our cousins would drink and they were our age. Their parents and some of the adults thought it was funny. In the other home, everything had dog fur in it that we ate. My parents explained this by saying it was their role to visit their parents. Even the grandparents would fight by making the dinner times the same so we would have to choose. When I became older, those grandparents died. Then I would take my family and all the food I could cook to my parent's home for the holidays. That was my role. Now my son and his gf come over to my home. Doesn't have to be on Christmas as he visits his father on that day. I make my own traditions and I am happy on this. No more running around or stress.
I wish you would continue to make your family's holiday times memorable. You may still honour the in-laws when times are more normal. Start living your family life well. Have fun and be safe.
