I Love Christmas
It’s family time for us....
This year, we did the usual - me, my mum, my daughter and some co-workers - worked and went to Midnight Mass, then back at work....
Few drinks for family, not for me obviously, back home before heading to bed around 3:30am....
....then me and Mark were rudely awoken, around 6am, by our other kids bouncing on the bed....
Not good! Put on a cheery face and ‘do christmas’ !
Cue Xmas music, breakfast, showers for all, opening presents, cooking and being the perfect host....
Usually, way in the past, it was always me that drank too much, got lairy and got totally wasted....and other times since it was other members of the family...
This year? Our eldest was well wasted, much to my annoyance, and the hubby - who has had a few tough cases recently - just ‘unwound’ a little too well, which was different....
They’ve both got crazy hangovers this morning....good! Lol!
It was a lovely time just shooting the shit together....
Today? Groundhog Day! More of the same...
