That's why I've decided to put some effort into this one. My transaction history looks truly terrifying. The pain is only going to grow with the ideas I have in mind. At least this can be my reaction after Xmas
I have my kids the option over 10 yrs ago Go to the homeless shelter and feed the homeless ,or we all meet at one of my daughters homes and all of us do the traditional thing My ex's Mom was the worst ,I am depriving my son the joys and fun of Christmas So it was his choice as to what he wanted to do ,,He has been going to the shelter ,but what he loves best is when they go out to the shutin's home , He is blown away with them crying and and going on how they can't believe someone cares about them ,and he gets joy out of waiting on them , He prefers that over waking up to toys He knows there is no santa and he came to that conclusion on his own When he see's 5 men in red suits and asks which one is real and I ask Son which one do you think ,and he says I think they are all fake ,,,well I am not going to teach him not to lie and then lie to him
We get together around 5 ,this year at my Granddaughters new home , eat and then we sing as a family ,,each of us lead a song ,even the son in laws are getting into the singing ,,,this will make year 11 They serve over 1000 meals at the shelter and carry hot meals to 125 -150 shut ins ,,,,I am my son in laws cook the food ,,,,I smoke a 20 lb turkey the son in laws have cooked duck (it sucked ) Ham ,and deep fried turkey that was ok ,,,but the smoked turkey is gone quick ,,there are never any leftovers ,,no one is in debt ,,and we all love our day serving others and being a close family ,,unlike the way I was raised Presents and hugs in the morning ,a meal and hugs at evening and no one speaks the rest of the year ,,we broke that curse ,we are close all year
