I have been a busy girl

So not long back from my turkey holiday with my hubster, eldest and daughter in law and tbh it wasn’t the greatest holiday we have been on as the hotel was 2 hours from airport and had no English people in it plus there was only one bar with little choice of alcohol and the food selection wasn’t to our standard, and it also it rained a lot.

When we got there no one was happy but as I said we had to make the most of it and that’s what we did and in the end we made some lovely memories but have decided another holiday in Jan 2027 to Egypt hurgarda which I know would be much better.

Next year will be just as amazing as this year has been Egypt in Jan and in July going to visit our American friends in Philly and I’m sure there will be plenty more holidays in between.

Life is definitely much better now and cannot wait to make more memories with the people I love! ❤

@Waveney no generally staff but also yes mostly German or Turkish so food was aimed more at them people not what we are use to and normally when we book we get places where staff speak English which is a big help and no language barriers!

To be honest, you sound like the archetypal Brits abroad, where you expect the food to be English, the drinks to be English, and everyone around you to speak fluent English.

You don't come across well.
