After the fourth.

In my post yesterday, I commented that holidays are pretty much worthless anymore. Today I propose to do a breakdown ofca couplecholidays and why I believe the way I do. New year's day is nothing more than a drunks holiday, Vetern's day and Memorial day are excellent holidays to honor this country's fallen service men and women, but why only one day or a weekend when gays and the african community get a whole freaking month? Then there's Independence day. How much freedom actually exists in this country. The government is corrupt as fuck and all they do is pass legislature to further rheir own cause while we, the public pay for it. Next comes Thanksgiving. Now here's an interesting holiday. Maybe there is some truth in this holiday. Maybe people are actually thankful for what they have. Things like family, health, friends. Then comes black Friday and Christmas (the silly season). Christmas is nothing more than a commercialized holiday. Gimme, gimme gimme, that's all Christmas boils down to.
