My aunt bought me a Christmas wreath a few years ago, apparently after discussing it with my parents.

I don't do holiday decor. This has been a well-known fact about me for a long time. The idea of storing decor 11 months out of the year is absurd. But they got me this big wreath anyway, in like a 3' x 3' cardboard box. So I've just had it sitting in my apartment all this time, behind the television set, just in case anyone ever asked where it is. I do not want to upset my aunt or my mom.

But I realize now that I could probably just like, sell it or throw it out, and I could very easily claim that it was just stolen or something. Stealing a Christmas wreath off of someone's door would be super fuckin' easy and nobody could really dispute that that happened. Or maybe I could just say that it broke at some point idk. And odds are, nobody would ever ask in the first place, everyone's probably forgotten about that stupid thing by now.
