How was your Xmas/boxing day?
My dog loved it. He was all over the wrapping paper and helped the little one to open his presents too.
Bruno is so funny.
My mum did the cooking and well it wasn't so bad this year, because I was able to eat it instead of being 4 days pre labour, eating scraps.
Notably I've tried to not let her get to me.
But she has been negative again especially whilst drinking her wine.
We have spoken about a few things but what upset me the most was her talking about my cousins band.
He 18 so just starting out doing gigs, he has really improved since he's been going to college, the band also. Anyways they had to find a couple of new members a singer and bassist. (Unreliable and diva behaviour)
Anyways he recently posted on Instagram one of their most recent gigs so my mum started bigging him up and criticizing the singer. Saying she had no stage presence and can't sing.
I thought this was a little harsh because the crowd seemed to be responding to her requests to jump and clap with her and sung along to some of the lyrics of their songs.
I couldn't hold it in but had to say, " give her some time, hopefully like Robert she will grow into her voice a bit more, what's good is she's been turning up to the gigs and helping them get the crowd going".
Unfortunately she looked like she had been smacked across her face.
Wasn't intentional but they're young people just doing their thing.
