Does anyone besides me not do holidays?

I don't, in a "holiday" sort of way, because I am retired!

A Bank Holiday is just another day to me, apart perhaps from things like reduced bus services, or avoiding adding my own car to the holiday-traffic congestion.

I go away for short breaks occasionally, usually just a long weekend, but perhaps only once or twice a year.

I'm not buying gifts because I'm broke af

Some years it's harder

For me, any excuse to get together with family is a good excuse. Thanksgiving is my ideal holiday -- gathering to prepare multiple side dishes, then sitting down to eat together, maybe a brisk walk thrown in -- checks all my boxes!

I don't do them either. None except Halloween tbh and barely that anymore. It's mostly just the day before discount decor, cosplay supplies and cheaper candy day.

You get to appreciate holidays more when u work hard

I tend to keep to myself during the holidays. Christmas and New Year’s Eve a few beers.

I think December is the darkest month

Treat Xmas as normal day. Since I hate it and not the same when I was a kid.

Holidays are so over-rated these days.

I don’t do it that much anymore. I like spending time with loved ones, but I’m not out partying.
