I agree. It seems like everything is for them.
Christmas is for everyone, not just children. And yet, it's all about them.
I don't celebrate holidays anymore anyway. Too depressed and cynical now.

The holidays have real historical and cultural legitimacy. However, they have been cheapened by crass commercialism. We should take back our holidays. Maybe this should be by individual actions. Don't buy that holiday commercial junk, instead make something yourself. Come up with holiday celebrations, etc.

To redefine ourselves. To drop the mask we have to wear at work.
