Does your wife have to work today or do you cook New Year’s dinner?

My wife is long-retired. With her dementia I have to do all the cooking -- she no longer remembers how to use the oven, etc. But I've pretty much always done most of the cooking over the years, so no problem. As to a New Year's dinner, we're not having anything special this year -- not even sure just what we will have.
