I was just glad to get through it. Dont get me wrong. Love the family. But my wife has dementia and forgets and gets confused and cant keep up with conversation, then gets frustrated that no one is engaging. It made things tense a couple of times. But at least I got her there more or less on time and no one got offended..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman why would anyone ever get offended at someone with dementia??
Unfortunately the majority of people in my family get Alzheimer's so there's always at least one person in my family with Alzheimer's at any given time and that is very stressful on the caregiver and right now it's my great aunt and my mother cares for her because she didn't have any kids.
Hats off to you sir. Merry Christmas.
Sometimes my mom can't go to things because my great aunt is not behaving.

@REMsleep No one gets offended. But it can upset the kids. They know who she used to be. And a lot of the time that isnt her any more. And Yes. Her behaviour prevents me doing a lot of things. But it is what it is.. We had 50 good years, so I take every good minute I can get.😷
