What's stonewall day - June 23 @Torsten
LeopoldBloom · M
@Spoiledbrat It commemorates the Stonewall Riots in 1969, when patrons of the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in Greenwich Village, fought back against a police raid. This is considered the beginning of the gay rights movement in the US; the first gay pride parade happened a year later.

@Torsten You should be grateful that your identity is taken for granted and you don't need a special day to commemorate it, you entitled donut. You people remind me of kids who ask why there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day, but no Kid's Day. It's because every other day of the year is Kid's Day by default.

@Torsten You seem pretty fragile if your panties are in a bunch because some people you disapprove of have a special day dedicated to them. A day, by the way, that no one is requiring you to celebrate. I'm more annoyed that the country pretty much shuts down for two weeks around Christmas, a holiday I don't celebrate.

When the Right says Leftists are forcing something on them, what they really mean is that somewhere someone is existing in a way that they don't like.
