Best goto spot during summer

We're planning our summer holiday. Anyone know a good spot? Especially near Europe or a #cheaptogotoplace

I say outside of the EU is best for the summer like California, Canada, Costa Rica, Hawaii, etc

@Merel2006 I think overall cost might be cheaper when you look at exchange rates from € to $. The euro has historically been stronger than the US dollar

@Merel2006 depending on when you travel it can be where between 30 and 55 in California (depending on where in the state to)
