@meggie Very true. I constantly have to remind myself to enjoy the moment. I tell myself, I won't waste another year worrying.

Im staying at home. I would love to spend at least one christmas doing something special away from home but Ive never the funds. I also dont want to offend my family
@SW-User Yeah, it's can be tough making that decision. When you do have the money, I day give your family an advance notice that you'll be spending the holiday in solitude and reflection, or call it a sabbatical of sorts if you need to. Just so you communicate that you need to spend some time alone. They may have questions, which can be addressed later. But believe me, making time for self is so very important too. Especially if you're the kind that does a lot for your family all the time. Just a thought. Either way, I hope your day is blessed and that you are well fed.
