Not celebrating Christmas thankfully.

I know some people get a little upset when I say "I'm not celebrating Christmas because it's a pagan holiday" it was falsely changed to the Messiah's birth even though even historians admit that that was wrong.

My reasons are simple, nowhere in the Bible does it say we shall celebrate messiah's birth. I know some people point to the three wise men, however the thing about that is when Jesus was born they did not come until months later and they only honored him, they didn't celebrate his birthday.

Now of course, some people would say well neither is Thanksgiving in the Bible. That is true, it is not. However it is proper that we give thanks to God for coming to this fine land. The tragedy of course was the US government to eradicating the Indians. Rather bad show there

Now of course if you guys want to wait around till next year then there's Purim. And that is in the Bible. Sunset, 23 March – nightfall, 24 March

That one is where the saying comes "Hoisted by his own petard" as it was a time of great fear by the Jews who were about to be slaughtered due to one man's anger at a Jew who would not bow to him.

The man had had gallows made to execute the Jews but ended up being executed on those very same gallows.

The Purim celebration is based on a story described in the biblical Book of Esther. Purim marks the deliverance of the Jews from a royal death decree in the 5th c. BCE. It is a festive holiday celebrated on the fourteenth day of the Hebrew month of Adar.

Anyway that's my take on it but you may enjoy yourself as you wish happy holidays.

I'm suprised you think someone cares this much what you celebrate and not. Those who are celebrating we are busy prepping for Christmas and those who don't they just avoid any topic about it.

@Queendragonfly as usual you cared enough to respond so yep you do care what I say.

@PeacefulEntity as usual? Who are you again? 😂😆

@Queendragonfly it does not matter who I am. The only thing is, is that you are in a conundrum. Because you have said you don't care, but you cared enough to respond, and then you cared enough to respond again, if you really don't care don't respond.

I have seen many people put out questions or statements which I did not respond to and see that is how you do it, you don't respond.

@Queendragonfly rarity vibe? are you kidding? I mean even the Jews don't celebrate it and the Messianic Jews don't, well the correct Messianic jews, not the hypocritical ones and yes I have met those.

In fact I had been attending a synagogue of them until they showed up coming in December and they had it all decorated with a Christmas tree and I was like "You guys just don't get it"

So I never went back.

@PeacefulEntity Exactly. Millions of people don't celebrate it. So why are you making a wall of post to explain yourself? You don't celebrate, ok, good for you. 😆

@Queendragonfly but then you posted the saying you don't care, but you cared enough to respond, so I don't understand why you're still responding even though you say you don't care. I think there's something more there.
