It a beautiful county!
I took up the drums. Didn't get anywhere particularly but it was fun trying! I sold my kit decades ago and I'd need practice to try again but I still know the "rudiments". That were when pop and rock music had proper and sometimes quite complicated rhythms, long before first the Disco then Drum-&-Bass stuff took any complexity out.

@ArishMell Reminds me of one of Wodehouse's stories about Bertie Wooster and Jeeves. Bertie took up the ukulele and the neighbours complained so he decamped to a cottage on the Devon estate of a titled friend. Jeeves disapproved of the noise so much that he gave notice.
At least that's what I vaguely remember.
