The Real Reason Why We Never Had A Decent Christmas Tree (A Story)
The real reason why we never had a decent Christmas tree is simply because we can't afford it.
When I was a kid, I never understood why we don't have a Christmas tree. I saw small and big Christmas trees from my relatives, but never had one.
When I was in highschool, my mom saw me trying to create a Christmas tree out of cardboard. She later on bought a 2-feet beautiful Christmas tree with pine cones. That was our very first Christmas tree. Then flood came, we have to move from different city, and we lost our only Christmas tree.
Back then, though I feel a little jealous with other's Christmas tree, I never asked my parents why we have none. All I knew was, it is not essential. Maybe I knew that time that we need to spend our money on more important things like food, clothes, and utilities.
Well, please don't feel sad about me. I just remember this childhood memory because I just checked out my dream Christmas tree. Wish me luck in decorating 馃檹鈽猴笍
