So Target will be closed now on all Thanksgivings days...

I think it's great. I hated working retail, and having to work on Christmas eve and come into work early on Thanksgiving or late Thanksgiving afternoon.

People can wait to get their sweaters, crockpots, coffee pots and other crap the next day. Let people enjoy their holiday with family OR however they choose to spend it.

Walmart started that crap and they’re closed tomorrow too. Such a mean thing to do to employees. I worked the first year they started it and they made me come in about 3 a.m. and the sale didn’t start till about 8 p.m. The best thing was that they did feed us a good meal back in the break room and the crowd was pretty well-behaved, but then again they had so many off-duty law enforcement and so many employees working that they would have gotten caught if they tried to rush the door.
