The first ever time my dad came to support me he ruined it for me

I do always wonder if he did it on purpose , I was under 25 so I had to have an parent with me at the time , I was 19 and we traveled two hours to get to the competition, but my dad wouldn’t wait around or sit in the room , he complained all the time whilst I was waiting and I kept telling him to stop it as I didn’t want to give the judges an bad impression, he ended up getting locked out and kept texting me whilst I was waiting for my turn to sing in front of the judges , he finally got let in but after I sung I started having an panic attack over what he did so he taken me out and we went home straight after instead of waiting for the next part. They said to all of the parents if you aren’t supportive of your kids then we won’t bother with your kids because we will be wasting our time. After that he never went anywhere else with me again and he kept bringing up the fact I didn’t get an place as they never phoned us afterwards , every time I asked him to support me in something he always brought up the fact I failed in the singing competition.
