I Cannot Sing a Note

I absolutely loved singing ever since I was a toddler, my parents got me my own boom box stereo when I was 3 or 4! As I got older I realized I could hit the highest notes ; like Mariah Carey and so on! When I was 15 I realized that I also had a rich raspy voice too like Alice Cooper. Everytime I went to Karaoke I was introduced as the best singer in the house on a full night and after I was done singing they played the sirens every Karaoke DJ would introduce me as yhe best singer! I absolutely loved singing even during worship in the church I could tell people in front of me turning an ear towards me all the time! But unfortunately all good things must come to an end.....As I was a smoker and developed COPD Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and as I got older my voice changed to a deeper more raspy voice like Joyce Meyers and I'm only 41! I try singing and I cannot do it without screeching and coughing! I am so sad that my greatest gift could be taken away from me.....just like that.
