Rephrasing what i'm up to in my readings

One might ask, why do you choose what you do as a centrepiece of what will gradually grow into the totality?

It's biographical. The faith of my folks, i feel there is a deep connection there that needs to be furthered in my own peculiar way. Within the rationale is the fact that i loathe how my dad speaks about and in the name or religion, there is a lack of understanding that is staggering, and bad faith bursting out at the seams.

He happily "agrees" with Calvinism, is ready with praise for RC Sproul, but when i mentioned about infant baptism to him, he goes there i have a problem, and then he asks is that what Calvinists believe? A few minutes later and he probably just forgot the whole matter.

A month or so back he's struggling with the absence of mom, i come up and read some religious material to him, ONCE, and i hear him tell family and friends that his son, me always does that. He's 79 yrs old and unhinged, i love him dearly, but i need, if anything Christian a full throttled rest of my life seminar series on Christianity. Where i start and use as the centre is just my preference, when i was a teenager the guy who opened Calvinism up to me was CH Spurgeon, a guy my family at large can sort of agree that he was a solid teacher, but those who would say that, strangely wouldn't follow Spurgeon in his denominational proclivities.

I haven't communicated it that well but this stuff shaped me, and other shapings was related to it. Take Nietzsche for example, what did he spend so much time on, if not the faith being inspected.

From a solid introductory situatedness, which is to do with how you treat and live with the material, you can grow outward to come to terms with the wider picture, and if my theory of how this will all go holds, each and every thing come across, with that solid beginning (preference) will be revelatory, or at least insightful. In this sense all of humanity's teachings can operate for the individual together, beyond limits that each sets up.
