Just wondering how people in this group watch others. what is it that you hope to see?

Maybe not a very exciting answer:
In a restaurant or café I watch other people and try to guess their relationship to each other, their occupation, how they are dressed, how tactile they are, etc.
For example a fiftyish man with a pretty young woman:
Father / daughter ?
Boss / secretary ?
Cheater / mistress ?
