Why can people tell if you're looking at them or if you're being looked at?

Could be 50 feet behind and I'll turn around and look right into their eyes, or vice versa, like a weird reflex.

This is crazy and true, I was staring at the back of somebody's shiny bald head and he turned around, I turned away. Did it again so he felt the feeling twice in a minute.
