Apparently i have socialist ideals

If i think that government funding should be spent on giving destitute people a chance at a decent and equal life..

Instead of governments spending trillions on massive buildings and wars and paying people not to farm..

There’s all sorts of corruption in all sorts of governments because people have a tendency to be corrupt and greedy people vie for power and some kill for it..

I just wanna live in a world and society where life is cherished and valued and people have the proper values and respect and kindness and heart and true morals.. not a pretense of them (which is the worst and a cruel falsehood)

Not that i was ever a saint or anything .. but one can dream..

Imo, the job of govt is to protect society...keep it going. Not to mold it, impact it, develop it, or penalize and reward only like-minded ppl. It also should not provide a permanent option for ppl.
It should uphold laws, blindly. Protect us law-abiding citizens fiercely, and provide for the most vulnerable of us, only.
A small, temporary safety net is acceptable, with certain limitations and expectations.

We must understand that while opportunities should be available to all, equal outcomes are NOT guaranteed.
