The people who always ask for evidence in arguments

also believe in conditions that are not defined by any evidence other than a self report. Take hearing voices as an example. The only thing we know is that there is a group of people who claim they hear them. It's entirely possible that they just have some other unifying factor that makes them report this but they aren't actually experiencing it. This willingness to believe one thing but not another is a result of a compassion flaw. The only reason you take someone at their word is because you are afraid of what happens if you don't but that is illogical. I want others to admit this because of the arrogance so often on display.

Don't be kind to him either then. Ignore him

This is true. There's a lot of people who want to have mental illnesses that get attention on tik tok. Like the rise in teens saying they have dissociative identity disorder lol when they haven't been diagnosed. Videos been done on the rise of people faking these things.

Well not faking, they may believe this out of trauma or whatever but I don't know.

On a side note, I can't always tell if someone is hearing voices but I've heard them talk and I can't describe it but their speech patterns are a little different to me. You just kind of know.

There was a homeless man who had a nickname I don't remember. Not a bad nickname, just everyone knew him. When he heard voices you could tell it was legit. Hard describing it, wish I could have you in my area I'd show you but it's more in speech patterns of what he say. There was a sense as if he wasn't in our reality.

He would acknowledge that you were there and could hold semi conversation but it would break off eventually and he'd ignore you were there while talking to himself. I knew he wasn't faking for sure.

He'd also have something like babble speech where he wouldn't make a lot of sense.
