I Like to People Watch
There's this couple living in the building I am living. They remind of Kelly and Ryan from the Office. Yes, the woman, like Kelly, is Indian and is very possessive of her white boyfriend. I mean, she is always clinging to his arm every time I see them as if he might escape and the guy looks uncomfortable and shows no sign of intimacy towards her. 馃槄
So one evening, I was getting back to my apartment from work and was catching up to the elevator. The couple was already inside the elevator and the door was closing in. I started running towards the elevator to press the button. The guy saw me and held the elevator for me. When I got into the elevator, I said thanks and smiled at him. He smiled back which made the girl extremely jealous. I could feel her glare on the back of my head until I got from the elevator. Even now as I type this, I can see both of them in the supermarket and the girl is still clinging to him.
