Price shock!

I just went to Home Depot to buy some plywood. It’s been awhile since I’ve needed a sheet or two. My lord how these prices have skyrocketed! What the hell happened? A few years ago they were a quarter of the cost! $56 for one sheet!!!

I wonder where it was sourced from ?

Homegrown ? In which case it might be down to the weather.
Or imported and subject to import tariffs.

Or of course could just be price gouging from the company selling it.
