Mystery Barbie

My uncle was pretty high up at Mattel and they made these two Barbie figures to put on their wedding cake. Would you be able to tell me if it’s a one of a kind a mass produced model?

..did you try taking a small nibble from an inconspicuous area to see if they're made of marzipan?

The Barbie looks like a female doll I'd have had in the late 80s/early 90s judging by the hair and makeup style. Her outfit might be custom?

The Ken looks like it was a custom paint job.

If those are representations of the people getting married, I'd hate to meet them in person.

@GeniUs you would have to be dead to meet them since they both passed away.

So mattel was letting employees get high a long time ago apparently. How fortunate for all their workers

I can imagine the clothes would be custom-made but the dolls themselves would only be production ones.
The male is wearing pants that don't fit; probably lost his and had to geab Barbie's S/O's pants...

I wonder if there’s any value associated with them Not being a production run?
