Actually the new Barbie movie maybe more insidious than I was initially led to believe....

I naturally assumed that because it's Barbie, the message of the movie would be salutary and wholesome as for generations, Barbie has provided young girls with a charming template to which aspire and emulate.

However, I'm hearing more and more that it's a vehicle to indoctrinate the young with feminism ideological beliefs and feminist cynical sneering.

Has anyone actually seen it yet?

From Dr. Seuss, to Big Bird....now it's Barbie.
TX Senator Ted Cruz once again accused the Barbie movie of pushing “Chinese communist propaganda” - even though he hasn’t seen it.
Like a good Republican. Cruz never misses the chance to find an 'enemy' and to fearmonger the base. I am surprised that he didn't alert We The People, to this new threat to the security of America, as 'The Pink Scare.'
It is troubling when Cruz and his GOP pals seem intent on finding the next boogey man to alert us too, as opposed to actually governing our country and passing laws that the vast majority of Americans support.

Cruz is up for reelection in 2024. Perhaps the people of Texas have finally had enough of Raphael, and will send him packing. I am not hopeful. Texas leads the nation in voter apathy.

I had to google this to see if it's real, because it's just too silly.
Yup it's real.
Vanity Fair has the headline Ted Cruz Goes to War with Barbie 🤣
Apparently because there's a crayon line drawing vaguely depicting the South China Sea that's inaccurate.
The film’s distributor Warner Bros. has emphasized that the line was intended to “depict Barbie’s make-believe journey from Barbie Land to the real world. It was not intended to make any kind of statement."

Ted, you're a silly douche.
