Is there a new hobby that you would like to try?

@Stereoguy: I need two things I don't have now but hope to have in the future: Money to buy a good detecting instrument and more strength in my arms and legs. I've been recovering from an illness very slowly.

@Stereoguy: They vary greatly. Probably the best way to select one is to go to a metal detecting club and let people there recommend one.

@Stereoguy: I am making a slow recovery. When I am up to it, there are a few things I want to do.

@Stereoguy: I've already started a thriving garden. And I am starting to swim again. Eventually, I am going to go on a weekend roadtrip and maybe go camping.
