I use olive oil or avocado oil as my carrier. I just gently crush whichever flowers or grasses I want to use and cover them with oil in a clean canning jar. Have to make sure it's clean and not wet. Then I set it in the sun on my window ledge for about a week and give it a good shake every day. Then I use a hand sieve to separate the oil from whatever I'm infusing it with and put up the oil. If I want a stronger scent I leave it a few more days to seep.

@EllaDisenchanted: Thank-you. The video I found had a lot more instructions than this. And I have olive oil being I sometimes cook with it.
The scent from this flower is quite incredible. If this works I will also infuse flowers from my gardenia tree.
