Do you have a hobby?

@ProdigalSummer: I have a cheap digital camera. That's all I've spent on it. 👍

@Huntsman: my downfall was taking a couple of classes. After that I became a gear addict for a little bit.

I've dabbled in photography! 😎

@ProdigalSummer: I'm mostly self-taught. I will definitely have a DSLR one day. It won't be soon, though. I can't do macro or star trail photography with a cheap camera.

@ProdigalSummer: I think a lot of people get caught up in the gear rather than their photography experience and skills.

@Huntsman: some of those cameras are actually not bad at macro....just need a good light on the subject....

@Shutterbug: Yea, it's not bad. I've been wondering about photographing through a magnifying glass. Do you think that would help at all?

@Huntsman: too much distortion I suspect. By all means give it a go.
