Gardeners! Is there any garden lore that you go by?

So what zone are you and when do you plant? I'm in zone 4 so memorial day is when we consider ourselves safe from frost.

@mrmoose: Um I don't know what that means but I'm gonna say no. I work at a garden center. I wouldn't call myself a "plant specialist" necessarily but I know a lot and it's my job to answer the plant questions.

@beaisforbliss: thats ok, i worked in the garden center for 4 years. from kansas to south dakota, now nebraska. i trained seasonal workers, now one that i trained is dept manager

@mrmoose: I've been at my job just one year. Going on my second season but I picked everything up really quickly so I've earned the trust of my boss and the regular customers. I'm 23 but have a chubby baby face. People tend to underestimate me but I know my shit. And I'm gonna start training people this coming week. Kinda nervous but I know I can do it.

@beaisforbliss: i know you can do it, just remember to learn from everyone. it's how i have always worked. and read labels, you can get good information. and talk with venders
