I would love to see a limited edition C2 with the current engine and suspension out of the C7. If they would swing something like that together it would be an instant home run.

i like corvette stingrays and dodge vipers both. but probly the first would be more fuel efficient just because the latter is more bulky idk I'm just guessing

The chassis on the viper is stiffer and the ride quality is brutal. Viper owners actually like that as it is close as you can get to a street legal race car you can buy with a warranty. The corvette is more efficient and does get better MPG but it is not because the viper is bulky.

I wouldn't buy either one. To me they are overpriced. I can get the same thrill driving a Mustang or maybe a Camaro. I like German engineered cars too, like BMW's.

Over priced? Where else can you get a car that goes 0-60 in 2.9 with a warranty for 73K? There is a lot bigger thrill in a C7 Corvette or a Viper than a Mustang or Camaro. For the record, BMWs are fine cars but again, not really an option. So I am going to put you down as not liking them at all. :) Thanks!

Vipers look cooler and stand out more in a crowd but I'd still take a Corvette any day.

I was going to trade one of mine in for the new Z06 but when I went to the gas station the place emptied out. Folks came from all over to take pictures. You seem to see Corvettes everywhere and there are far more of them on the road. Vipers stand out like a poop in a punch bowl.

Yeah, very true. I live in a pretty rural so it isn't the best place to go car seeing but in my life I've seen maybe 4 vipers compared to countless vettes.

Around a 100 k i'd go with a used 911 turbo..0-60 below 4 seconds and handles like a go kart.Also has a lot more class

The new ones are pretty sexy. The Z06 has 650 bhp and 650 Torques (as Jeremy Clarkson would say) Hard to argue with that package for around 80k.

Had a C6 and it was nothing but trouble. Had crank pully wobble, the rear view mirror had issues. (800.00 to replace), the clear coat paint came up on EVERY single panel exposing the body and the paint, the HUD fell down into the dash, and the battery died all the time. I need to have my head examined for thinking about getting into that again with a C7 but man oh man are they sexy.
