@Burnley123 It's a really in-depth read and actually covers many eras not just the golden age of sail like I was expecting! Definitely reccomended!

@BritishFailedAesthetic I'm big into the Napoleonic era and that was probably the peak of the royal navy.
@Burnley123 Plenty mentioned about it in the book! I'm currently reading about one of the Anglo- Dutch wars of the 1600s in this book.

@BritishFailedAesthetic I'd recommend The Age of Napoleon Podcast. A lot to get through but it's very good. It's been going for years but is only up to the start of the Peninsular War
