Funny how strongly people feel about anise and licorice flavor, either loving or hating it. Me, I love Ouzo if it's good and dry, not the candy-sweet Metaxa crap. Jack Daniels, now, is one booze I can't stand the smell or taste of, because of one unfortunate night way back in college... urp...

When I was younger everyone was holidaying in Greece and always brought Ouzo back for friends, I did like it until I over indulged
