Cheap creative hobbies for introverts

Lately started painting miniature figures (D&D) and I really enjoy it. Very zen. I need more activities like that in my life. Does anyone have any other suggestions for cheap, simple hobbies for people who hate people?

I'd say music is a very good idea but then you'd need to invest in an instrument. Sure you could order one online and get it in a really good price. Painting brings greater peace, calmness, focus, and unleashes creativity.. but I find that music balances an introvert's heart at best..:)
