@DrSunnyTheSkeptic whoa 🤯 that’s really cool and interesting 🧐 I’m kinda a weirdo nerd about that stuff 😏
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@SW-User Yeah, in uni we had to go from dentist to dentist to gather extracted teeth so we can use them for our dental exams.
SW-User
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic neat that’s awesome thanks for sharing
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
Beautiful work. You could sell them in a Museum c: even though they rather have anyone donate instead. I wonder if you can make a Pokemon skull c:
SW-User
@FreestyleArt thanks friend!! I spend a lot of time cleaning them to prepare for art. And a Pokémon skull hmm 🤔 I might be able to pull it off 😁
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
@SW-User jk lol you don't tondo a Pokemon skull c: although it would be cool
SW-User
@FreestyleArt I mean if someone paid me I totally would!! 😆
JestAJester · 31-35, M
Ok thats pretty badass. We need a "best post for the day" option
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@SW-User what can i say? Got a taste for macabre things
SW-User
@JestAJester oh I’m all about the strange and macabre 😏
JestAJester · 31-35, M
@SW-User what else you got
Rambler · 61-69, M
any particular soap you like for the cleaning ?
SW-User
@Rambler clear dawn dish soap. It cuts the grease. I’ve herd stories from other bone artists that blue Dawn dish soap can stain the bones/skulls. So it’s best to use clear
@SW-User I use Dawn and Windex for almost everything.
Rambler · 61-69, M
@SW-User thank you
They're so clean and white.
SW-User
@WonderGirl1 some are some are a bit dirty actually. But thank you 🙏 I spend a lot of time cleaning and whitening them
Those... definitely exist.
SW-User
@stound indeed
Slivereyes · F
Cool I love 💀 s
SW-User
@Slivereyes thanks 🙏
Barny52 · 56-60, M
Nice, how do you do the first clean up ? Been told burying them is good and let worms do it
SW-User
@Barny52 all of these skulls already had all the flesh off them when I got them. Burying them or letting the flesh rot off is the best way to get them clean. Then soaking in water.
Barny52 · 56-60, M
@SW-User that’s what I’m going to do next time I find anything, found a dead turtle very unusual here because they are not native, didn’t pick it up was going back for it later well it had disappeared when i went back, shame
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Did you have an account here months ago?
SW-User
@Rolexeo no I’m new
rrraksamam · 31-35, M
Did you kill those animals yourself?
SW-User
@rrraksamam no I’d never kill anything. All of them were dead when I got them
Nebula · 41-45, F
What are they?
SW-User
@Nebula oh there’s so many lol 😂 coyote, fox, raccoons, skunks, Mole, bat, pheasant, muskrat, deer
Nebula · 41-45, F
@SW-User oh cool
SW-User
@Nebula thank you 😊
How did you get into this hobby???
SW-User
@HootyTheNightOwl I’ve always had an interest in odd and strange things
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Did you bleach them?
SW-User
@MrBrownstone I use peroxide. Bleach destroys bones it will deteriorate them. I first degrease them though. I soak them in hot soapy water to remove the fat and oils before I whiten them with peroxide
Tminus6453 · M
Any human skulls?💀
SW-User
@Tminus6453 no. Human remains kinda creep me out lol 😂 I know it’s a bit weird that I love animal skulls but the human ones are not my thing
BBrendan · 46-50, M
I love em.
SW-User
