Singing will always be it for me

Fun fact, when I was in seventh grade I was voted most likely to win American idol. Did I ever audition, no. I wanted to but unfortunately monetarily it wasn’t happening for me. But man oh Man I was good.

I think that’s my only regret in life.
Not taking that chance.

If you have something like that feel free to share! It’s a safe space here 🤍

When I was in high school my art portfolio qualified me for a trip to Europe to exhibit my art, but my family was dysfunctional and poor, so I pretended I wasn’t interested in the opportunity
@WhateverWorks I understand that. I hope you are continuing to pursue that passion.

No, I did art shows for a little while in my late 20s, but as a single mother it just wasn’t compatible @Crimzen
@WhateverWorks I understand that for sure! But know that your talent is something to be seen & you deserve to do something you love too! (I have a honey but I feel like a single momma most times.) Remember you are VALID and you are appreciated no matter how hard the day is. You are a great mom.

Proud of you! You're still young enough to audition. I think the cutoff is 34

@Crimzen yeah baby!💖
Writing songs with both words and music. I could write gospel songs and did for my husband who sang. I got cocky though and entered a national gospel song writing contest. I didn’t make top 20. Broke my heart temporarily. They liked the song but didn’t like my introduction. Oh well. I got over it until"………my sister in law entered next year and came in top five. That hurt.LOL😁
I hope you've continued your singing.
Keep it up. Don't lose your chops.
