@dubkebab Maybe nothing unusual. I saw a great egret and an ibis. I saw ducks react to a hawk stalking their babies.

@SW-User Excellent! Not sure I've seen Ibis.Can fully picture the duckie drama,as a river is outside my window.We have Snowy Egrets here,hunted nearly to extinction as their plumage was greatly prized in the victorian era hat trade.(!) I can also see an Osprey nest from here-wow-they don't mess around!

@SW-User I've watched a few generations hatch and mature,indeed.
Amazing to think of the transcontinental flight they make to come back to this same redwood tree to breed.
