Have you ever offered to help out at a soup kitchen but they turned you down because you don't belong to their church ?
Or any for that matter ? Seriously, it defeats the purpose....

yeah, I don't get it.. I offered to volunteer at the animal shelter where I adopted my cats.. they had a tiresome application process and in the end my work schedule didn't fit thier needs!
