Do people buy amateur art?
I'm thinking of trying out abstract art to sell, and experiment with textures and techniques from youtube. But do people look for credentials of an artist before buying? Is it a thing?

@Jasondf i have nada. i don't have a job and a commissioner started a small business in town so i thought i could try making and selling art. Though selling feet pics would be the last resort. jk
