is it possible to become funny?
is it possible to become funny and learn how to create your own jokes? i think everyone just likes funny people. I feel like im competing with people for friendship and the funny ones always get friends.

I'm not in a position to give anyone advices but it's a long way to go. Learn bits. Learn them by heart first of all.
Get educated as much as you can. You are never too educated. You can always improve yourself.
Watch people whom do stand up comedy. Learn how to write comedy (you have to be educated to do that. You have to get to a point where you're able to know if a bit it's funny and you can tell it without asking your friends and family, even as a hobby).
At first before learning how to develop a persona you have to kind of copy your favorite comediant. This is how we learn everying before developing our own personality.
But before everything else. Start living! You have to give up control. What are you going to talk about to people? It's easy to insult someone for the sake of a joke but never insult someonen to make other lough. And yes indeed be yourself but you have to find yourself first to know who you are. It's a long way to go. You have to "train" yourself daily. It's like a sport.
But if you're not readdy to do that you can aleays learn a few jokes and tell them but not manny people are going to understand em. If you're going to do this it's gonna change you. It's a long road. You have to decide for yourself if it's worth it or not. Also figure out why you wanna be funny. You wrote it's for your friends. I don't know if you should do this if you do it for someone else. You have to do it for yourself. Why are you gonna write? Because it's funny for you or for them?
