Would you prefer to have been born in a different time?

I have made swords and armor, and studied how to use them. I often read books about that time, I know it wouldn't be like the books but I often think i would have preferred to live back then, I like to think i could have be a rogue stealing maiden's hearts, or a gallant warrior battling for justice. But instead I sit home and waste my life online.
