Am I too old for music lessons?

I want to play piano. Always have. That urge never died. I think I'm gonna buy a keyboard for Christmas. Maybe i get a good deal on it

Never too old, but I'd do it sooner rather than later. A colleague at work (who is a lot older than you) tried and gave up because he said he'd never master using both his hands in different ways at the same time. I've played all my life so never think twice about it, but I think he's right. Good luck with it. It's really, really rewarding. Probably more than anything else in my life.

@GlassDog so one can't learn two hands if they are older🤔

@iamnikki I'm pretty sure people can. Just that one person in my life found it difficult. We think it's a bit like patting your head with one hand and making a circular motion on your stomach with the other hand. The brain doesn't naturally work that way.

@GlassDog well I can do that. Just cant play both hands simultaneously, unless one hand is playing whole notes.
