Gardening gloves?

When you garden....do you wear gloves or not? I have small gands and short fingers so find it hard to get gloves...the ends of the fingers flop about making lots of jobs impossible.
So i usually garden with no gloves. I dont mind getting my hands mucky at all....but it doesnt do my nails much good!!!

I bought a brilliant pair some years ago that have padded leather fingertips and palms.
Great for thistle's and all those horrible jobs with Rose bushes etc !

I do sometimes...in the spring and fall but in the hot summer not as much...I did once and I had the craziest tan lines!

Normally wear gloves... Protect my guitarist hands lol

Yes, I work with vines and roots when I garden so I wear gloves (actually work gloves, but I use them for gardening as well).

if im weeding flower beds i wear gloves just in case animals have used it for a toilet

Rarely, pretty much only when dealing with thorns. I find they just get in the way and lose too much grip and feel with them.
