Is there a way to turn a stained glass window into a door?

We removed a stained glass window from a property we were remodeling and we were told by the owners we could keep it.its absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could post a picture but it’s in storage.

Here’s something like the shape of it but I can’t find the pattern. It’s very old the property is in a very upscale neighborhood.

But it has a second window that’s like a dome.

I was wondering if we could build a door around it and set glass on the front and back? (Like a shadow box) - I know a glass inside a glass.

Just to protect it from daily use and from the elements and to kinda give it extra insulation for the cold winter months

Build a frame for it and secure it to a wall with light behind it.

@SooperSarah yes, I like that
@SW-User I think I it'd look really cool. It's basically adding a window that always has sunshine behind it.

@SooperSarah exactly. It'd be safer that way to remain intact. I'd be worried of it breaking in a door, especially if it slams.
@SW-User it would never survive in a door.

@SooperSarah too brittle.

@SooperSarah my mom doesn’t have walls where I could display it in her house.
She has a wall in the center of her house that divides the kitchen from the living/dining area but the tv is there
I Don’t want to hang it on the fireplace.

Unless we remove a mirror she has in her very tiny hallway- which actually makes the space look bigger?

@KaysHealingPath hm... how about on the ceiling so it looks like a stained glass skylight?
