Is there a way to turn a stained glass window into a door?

We removed a stained glass window from a property we were remodeling and we were told by the owners we could keep it.its absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could post a picture but it’s in storage.

Here’s something like the shape of it but I can’t find the pattern. It’s very old the property is in a very upscale neighborhood.

But it has a second window that’s like a dome.

I was wondering if we could build a door around it and set glass on the front and back? (Like a shadow box) - I know a glass inside a glass.

Just to protect it from daily use and from the elements and to kinda give it extra insulation for the cold winter months

Nice piece, but stained glass panels are not designed for movement. In a door, the joints will break or loosen over time until it just crumbles. One good door slam and it's toast.
Better as a stationary decorative piece with a light behind it, such as a window, but on the inside in an air conditioned space.
Don't sandwich it between other panels as that will trap harmful moisture. It needs to breathe.
