Is there a way to turn a stained glass window into a door?
We removed a stained glass window from a property we were remodeling and we were told by the owners we could keep it.its absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could post a picture but it’s in storage.
Here’s something like the shape of it but I can’t find the pattern. It’s very old the property is in a very upscale neighborhood.
I was wondering if we could build a door around it and set glass on the front and back? (Like a shadow box) - I know a glass inside a glass.
Just to protect it from daily use and from the elements and to kinda give it extra insulation for the cold winter months
Thoughts?

But it has a second window that’s like a dome.I was wondering if we could build a door around it and set glass on the front and back? (Like a shadow box) - I know a glass inside a glass.
