Unemployment Drops To 3.6%, Payrolls Up 263,000, Showing Economy Remains Strong

Just when democrats think things couldn't possibly get worse for them in their resistance of Donald Trump, the Labor Department reports record low unemployment - again. We haven't seen such good numbers since 1969!

Meanwhile, democrats are scrambling to find a way to discredit the AG, the president, the Constitution, the Electoral College, the justice system, and of course the American people - especially Trump supporters.

While the country celebrates another win, democrats are in fear for their political lives.

Are you celebrating today?

It is called a business cycle for a reason, it cycles up and down, always has and for a lot of different reasons. It has been better, it has been worse, it will be better, it will be worse. It also has little do to with politics, though politicians will take credit for it if it is good when they are in office and try to make excuses or blame it on someone else if it is bad when they are in office. We will probably go into another recession in about a year but when we do it will not be because of who is in office but because it is time.

@Subsumedpat So, we should expect this every 50 years then?
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Budwick No there are two basic cycles, the business cycle where we see expansion and contraction of the economy since after world war @ the cycle has been on adverage 5 1/2 years but it can vary a lot due to different impacts. The one thing that does not vary is that it is cyclical and its peek is always followed by recession. There is also the debt cycle and the long term debt cycle, the long term debt cycle is about 100 years.

@Budwick No more like every 7 to 10 but the long term debt cycle every 100. The long term debt cycle ending is what hit us in 1929.

@Subsumedpat So, Obama must have missed his cycle, eh?
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Budwick the realstate bubble triggered the last one and was why it lasted longer than average, Obama was in as we started coming out of it and tried to take credit for putting the cars tires back on the road as he said but he had nothing do it. The recession did its job and it was time to come out, then we went through a period of expansion which Trump takes credit for.

@Subsumedpat You are full of excuses, aren't you?
I get it - you don't think Trumps policies have had a positive effect on the economy.

You should write a book.
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Budwick All presidents policies have some effect on the economy and the biggest effect comes when things go bad and the big one hits, it can be a not so bad recovery or a very ugly one depending on how it is handled. I am just not stupid enough to believe Trumps or any other prisidents retoric about how they saved the economy when the history of our economy provides other answers and people smarter than I have written books about it just people don't read.

Between your economic theory and poor spelling, I think you just might be stupid enough!

But, thanks very much for your input!

@Budwick It is not my economic theory, here is simple explanation.

@Subsumedpat there is no such thing as a debt cycle, it continually rises, this happens all over the world and as long as you are able to pay back the interest, then there is no problem...
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Platinum It is not the kind of debt cycle you are thinking of, you should watch the video.

When talking about debt and politics, it could only be the debt of the country...what videos @Subsumedpat

@Platinum The one I posted above in the conversation with Budwick just go back a few comments in this thread.

@Budwick You are calling Dubsumedpat stupid? Where are your manners. He helped you and explained economy to you. You obviously don't believe in free speech, nor manners, nor follow anything Jesus says. You are not a kind person!

@Carazaa
He helped you and explained economy to you.
